Abigail Scott Rawleigh is a writer, researcher, and educator and holds a PhD in early American literature from the University of Notre Dame. Her work studies the intersection of religion and literature in the British Atlantic with a particular emphasis on devotional practices and literatures. Her current book project, Devotion and the Domestic in English Atlantic Poetry, focuses on domestic language, imagery, and the real spaces to which they correspond in seventeenth-century settler colonial poetry.

She is currently a visiting lecturer in the Department of English at Indiana University, Bloomington, where she teaches a variety of literature and composition courses.
